AGC-100 Automatic Grinding Center

The AGC-100 is ideal for the chucking of small automotive, aerospace and medical components such as variable vanes journals, snap ring and o-ring grooves and small diameter compressor and turbine wheel contouring among others. MAX-TEK can provide fully automated systems including bowl feeders, automatic part loading and post machining laser inspection.

The two axes (X/Z) AGC-100 utilizes a high tensile Meehanite one piece massive base and bed to provide superior rigidity and vibration dampening for efficient high speed superabrasive machining. The economical 45 sq. ft. machine design incorporates a compact, easily accessible machining area simplifying part set-up wheel changes. With fully protected guide ways all grinding swarf drops to the bottom of the machine for exit to the sump.

Key componentry includes a work spindle capable of 0-6,000 RPM and water cooled, direct drive grinding spindles from 1,800-11,000 RPM and work sindle mounted dressing rolls. X-axis feedback is provided by a Heidenhain scale and a Fanuc based MAX-TEK touch screen operator panel with over-ride switches and function selector are standard.
